Artist Portfolio — Aya Ito
Goal. Berlin painter Aya Ito needed a quiet portfolio that foregrounds large works, keeps bio and press materials tidy, and lets her reorder pieces without emailing a developer.
Approach. I drafted a single narrative scroll—statement, gallery grid, exhibitions, contact—then wired Decap CMS collections for hero copy, artwork metadata, press links, and CV highlights. Netlify builds share preview links, while Plausible tracks views without cookies.
Outcome. The page ships under 1 MB, loads instantly on mobile, and every text or gallery change publishes via a clean /admin editor. Curators now receive a consistent link, and Aya uploads new series minutes after shoots.
